Pastor Ezekiel To Spend Two Days In Police Cells

Pastor Ezekiel Odero will spend two extra days at Port Police Station.

This is after the court directed that his bail application case to be heard on May 4.

The controversial preacher was arrested on April 27 and authorities asked that he be held for 30 days pending the outcome of the investigations.

However, the court granted the police seven days to detain him. Shanzu Senior Principal Magistrate Joe Omido ordered that the case be heard on May 4th.

Odero was arraigned last Friday in Shanzu Magistrate Court on grounds of murder, aiding suicide, kidnapping, radicalization, genocide, crimes against humanity, child abuse, fraud, and money laundering.

The Director of Criminal Investigation filed an affidavit requesting that the court decline Odero’s bail terms due to the nature, magnitude, and seriousness of the offences under investigation.
