Pastor Ezekiel Odero presided over the dedication ceremony of his New Life Church and Prayer Centre’s new branch in Mosocho, Kisii county.
The church will be built on a 13-acre plot of land purchased by Pastor Ezekiel.
“We’ve been looking for this piece of land for about two years. Kisii is densely populated, so you wouldn’t expect it to be easy to find a plot of land. We’re still working on the transfers, but we’ve paid what we’ve paid, and we thank God for our neighbours and our people,” he said.
Pastor Gillack Odero will lead the church.
His lawyers, Danstan Omari and Cliff Ombeta, were also present at the ceremony, congratulating Pst. Odero on his latest accomplishment and stating that the new church will attract development.
“This is a sign that the government has also begun to believe that people need religious freedom…the people of this community will greatly benefit from the arrival of this church,” said Cliff Ombeta.
