Pfizer Vaccine Approved For Children 12-15 Years Old

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been licensed for use in children aged 12 to 15, with the UK claiming it is safe and effective in this age range and that the benefits outweigh the dangers.

The MHRA stated that it conducted a “rigorous evaluation” of the vaccination in teenagers.

The vaccinations committee in the United Kingdom will now determine whether or not to give the vaccination to youngsters.

Pfizer’s vaccine is already licensed for use in persons over the age of 16.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) must now advise government on whether this age group should be vaccinated as part of the UK rollout.
