Mwene is gifted defensively and his swift runs make him stand out among different fullbacks.
It is this unique traits that made him an ideal transfer target to many European teams, in this summer’s transfer window. Even though Mainz made it clear that they wanted him to stay.
Mwene’s move away from Mainz was clear when he refused to to sign a new deal with the club even after his successful season in Germany.
