The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued an update on the Kangemi Overpass.
KeNHA said that the ongoing works are progressing steadily, which is a milestone to easing traffic flow along the busy Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

According to KeNHA, this project is set to enhance road safety, reduce traffic congestion, boost connectivity, and spur economic growth.
“KeNHA remains committed to transforming Kenya’s road infrastructure to improve livelihoods and enhance mobility for all,” KeNHA said.
The interchange, part of the expansive Waiyaki Way improvements, aims to streamline traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance road safety within Nairobi.
The project is seen as a key step in modernizing the city’s road network, promising significant benefits for commuters, businesses, and the Kangemi community.
Once complete, the overpass will strengthen connectivity across Nairobi, easing movement along the busy Waiyaki Way corridor.
