Plumber Electrocuted At Construction Site In Lavington

A tragic incident occurred at a construction site in Nairobi’s Valley Arcade area, where a 19-year-old plumber, Joash Kiprotich, lost his life to electrocution.

While drilling holes for plumbing, Kiprotich accidentally came into contact with a live wire, leading to the fatal incident. His body was swiftly discovered by colleagues after the electrocution on Wednesday evening.

Local authorities were alerted, and the police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.

In a separate incident, a Congolese national, Ndabarishe Timotheo, aged 20, collapsed while selling food at a car wash site in Mihango, Nairobi. Rushed to the hospital, Timotheo was declared dead upon arrival. The exact cause of his death remains unknown, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

Similarly, tragedy struck at a workplace in Westlands, Nairobi, where a waiter named Ronald Ombaso was found deceased. Police are probing the circumstances surrounding Ombaso’s demise, as he was discovered unconscious with a blunt physical injury on the back of his head.

While it’s suspected that he may have fallen, investigators are working to determine the exact cause of his death. The bodies of the deceased individuals have been moved to the mortuary pending further examination.
