After confirming the return of the France midfielder, Juventus revealed they will pay Paul Pogba €2.5 million in “ancillary costs.”
Pogba arrived in Turin on Friday, met with fans, had his medical over the weekend, and the transfer was finalized on Monday.
Juve announced that he had signed a contract keeping him with the team through June 2026. The club has until August 31 to make the €2.5 million payment, which is essentially a signing-on fee.
It has also been confirmed that the former Manchester United player will don the No. 10 jersey, which was last worn by Paulo Dybala in the season before the end of his first stint in Turin.
In his 178 appearances for the team since his initial signing in 2012, Pogba has scored 34 goals over four seasons.
Every season he won the league, and his final two he also won the Coppa Italia. In 2013, he received the Golden Boy Award as the best young player in Europe, and in 2015, he assisted Juventus in winning the Champions League.
