Police officers in Makueni have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his mother and father to death at their home in Kwa Muiu village, Kiima Kiu location, Makueni County. – By John Mutiso.
Makueni Police Commander, Joseph Napeiyan, confirming the incident, stated that the suspect stabbed his parents severally with a knife and later chopped them with a panga.
The incident occurred at around six o’clock in the morning where the son is said to have brutally murdered his father and Mother aged 100 years and 96years respectively.
Police said that the suspect later attempted suicide but was rescued and later taken to Kilungu Sub district hospital.
The bodies of the deceased were also transferred to Kilungu sub district hospital after police officers arrived at the scene. The suspect will be charged with the murder of his parents as the cause of the killings remain unknown.
