Police officers from Kabati Police Station arrested a suspected drug peddler on November 13, 2025, during a routine foot patrol in the Kabati area of Murang’a County.
During the arrest, officers recovered 20 rolls of cannabis sativa (bhang), which were seized as evidence. The suspect was escorted to Kabati Police Station, where he was booked and is now awaiting processing and arraignment in court.
The National Police Service (NPS) has intensified intelligence-led operations across the region, targeting illegal drug activities and other criminal offenses. Authorities continue to urge members of the public to cooperate by providing timely information, helping to strengthen safety and security nationwide.
This arrest reflects ongoing efforts by law enforcement to curb the distribution of illegal drugs and disrupt organized narcotics networks in Murang’a County and beyond.
