Police in Nyahururu Sub-County, Laikipia County have arrested a 23-year-old woman captured on a CCTV footage defiling a two and half- year boy.
The boy’s parents reported the matter to the police after they watched the footage of the woman caressing the toddler’s private parts and later defiling him.
Nyahururu Sub-County police boss Geoffrey Mayek said the woman had been left with the boy at the outskirts of Nyahururu in Karuga area.
“The woman was captured on CCTV camera while touching the minor’s private parts before defiling him,” Geoffrey said.
The minor was rushed to Nyahururu County and referral hospital for examination. The police commander also added that they will press defilement charges against the suspect.
