A notorious Buruburu gangster suspected of stealing and killing innocent Kenyans has been killed. – By Caleb Mwikya
The teenage man, who was armed with a pistol, was gunned down during a botched heist in Buruburu, according to Nairobi police.
The police were informed of two bandits who were sighted robbing residents of their phones and valuables at gunpoint, according to sources.
After a few minutes of putting them through their paces, the officer caught up with them and demanded that they surrender. However, the armed teenagers opened fire on police officers.
The policemen gunned down one of the rogue thugs, while his accomplice managed to escape with injuries.
The terrible occurrence occurred just hours after three more criminals were shot in Kikuyu, two of whom were killed and the third escaped with gunshot wounds.
In recent years, insecurity has been on the rise, with most of the culprits being young men.
