Police shot and killed four gang members in Nakuru Town West, while an unknown number of suspects fled with gunshot wounds.
Six extremely poisonous arrows intended for police officers were discovered in a bow and arrow found in their hiding places.
According to Peter Mwanzo, the commander of the Nakuru County police, the four have been identified as members of the Nyuki squad, a division of the illegally recognized gang that has been terrorizing people.
He went on to say that the same gang is also responsible for the brutal killings of a woman who was beheaded in Barut and a 48-year-old man two days earlier in the same region.
