Police Hunt Woman Seen With Slain IEBC Staffer

The returning officer for the IEBC is thought to have interacted with the woman in question before he vanished.

DCI Detectives have started looking for a woman who was last seen conversing with the assassinated Daniel Mbolu Musyoka,

The returning officer for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is thought to have interacted with the woman in question before he vanished.

Investigators have confirmed that they are in possession of the CCTV tape that showed Musyoka interacting with the enigmatic woman.

According to Citizen TV, Musyoka was seen on CCTV outside an entertainment venue close to his place of employment conversing with an unidentified woman minutes before he vanished.

Musyoka was stationed at the East African School of Aviation, which served as the tallying center for Embakasi East.

A second CCTV recording from that location captures the murdered returning officer speaking to a boda boda rider on the day of his disappearance.

A colleague of Musyoka’s from the IEBC revealed that he spoke to Musyoka the night before he vanished and that the murdered member of the IEBC staff told him that some original Form 34As were gone.

“The only challenge he said he faced was that original copies of the form 34A had been stolen from one of his colleagues. I don’t think that such a problem would have made him leave the tallying centre,” the IEBC staff stated.

As soon as he arrived for work, Musyoka reportedly fled the East African School of Aviation’s grounds without requesting the bodyguard’s assistance.

Investigations have shown that before his phone went off in the Mihang’o neighborhood of Nairobi, he had a WhatsApp conversation with someone.

His last known locations—from his house to the East African School of Aviation, where he was stationed, to Church Road, and finally to Oloitoktok, where his lifeless body was discovered—were tracked using his physical and digital traces.
