Police officers from Mombasa are currently investigating an incident which reportedly happened yesterday at night after a middle-aged man is reported to have been arrested after he was found flouting curfew rules.
According to the reports given by the police officers who arrested the man, they revealed that they were forced to react after they called him over before he started running. This was followed by a dramatic scene after they chased him only to find out that it was a man in Women’s Clothes.
“We saw him and called him over and he started running at first we thought that he was a woman but after seeing his speed that’s when we started chasing him after realizing that something was not okay with him”, One Officer revealed.
However, according to the reports given by the suspect who has been identified as Mutahi Wahome, he claimed that he had been cursed by an unknown person adding that he started wearing women’s clothes at a young age.
When asked why he was walking at night past curfew times, he said that he was going to fly along Mombasa beach. According to the reports given by Wahome, he added that he had been working on something which he needed to test in the middle of the night to avoid accidents.
The suspect is currently being held in one of the police stations in Mombasa as police officers are yet to confirm if his claims of building an aircraft are true.
