Police said the operations were aimed at deterring planned crimes during this electioneering period. The suspects are expected in court today.

Police say they have deployed more personnel in the city to address concerns of rising crime incidents.

To address the demands, police on leave have been recalled from today.

This means you will see more patrols on the streets and in your neighbourhood ahead of the polls next month.
