Police in Dagoretti Sub-County have arrested seven suspects following a targeted operation against phone snatchers along Naivasha Road.
The operation, led by officers from Kabete Police Station, was mounted after intelligence reports linked several individuals to phone thefts in the area.
Two suspects on a motorcycle were intercepted in the act, while three accomplices were arrested for handling stolen goods.
In the same sweep, another suspect was found in possession of bhang, and one individual was apprehended for operating a motorcycle without valid insurance.
Authorities have secured the motorcycle used in the illegal activities alongside other exhibits. The suspects remain in custody awaiting processing and arraignment in court.
The National Police Service commended the officers for their swift response, reaffirming its commitment to dismantling criminal networks and ensuring public safety.
