Mystery surrounds the identity of a man whose decomposing body was found on a tree in Gatanga area, Murang’a County.
The body was found by locals who alerted police. Police suspect the body had stayed on the rope hanging there for more than three days.
The body parts were falling off and had badly decomposed when it was discovered.
It was moved to the mortuary as investigators work on it to identify it and establish the motive.
