Kalonzo Musyoka would have been Kenya’s 3rd President if it were not for President Moi, who wanted him to gain political muscles beyond the then dry Ukambani political landscape.

Moi initially toyed with the idea of crowning Kalonzo as his successor after he used him to neutralize the Matiba magic in Ukambani.

But Moi had signed many MOU’s with old Jomo, Mudamba Mudavadi, Jaramogi Oginga and others.

How Mudavadi's Father Became The Richest Man In Sabatia After Helping ...

Moi wanted a united Kenya and so he invited President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Noah Katana Ngala to succeed him.

Strangely, Raila, Kalonzo rebelled and they remained politically close to date. Despite the pretense, Musalia lost his political Google in 2002 after he supported Uhuru for his cameo where Uhuru lost, but he tendered his presidential credentials.

Raila fogged between the thick political mists that is Kenyan politics and therefore he will retire a national hero whatever the outcome of August 8th.

Analysts claim DP William Ruto, Jirongo Sam Nyamweya and other KANU boys were mentored by Moi.

He has used every election cycle to gain and retain to the extent that Ruto will be a permanent feature in Kenyan politics between 1992 and beyond 2022.

So what ticks him? He ceased the Kalenjin nation from the Moi dynasty and he is now working hard to cart away the Kikuyu nation.

Using the narrative that when the two communities vote together, peace is guaranteed.

Ruto, to his credit has authored a Matiba effect in Central Province. He may however soon realise that Central Kenya and GEMA vote the way they want.

Musalia Mudavadi on the other hand is considered the finest leader to ever grace the harrowed grounds of Nairobi School.

An intellectual with a touch of finest and class, a firm leader and a hard tackling rugby player.

Used by Moi. Dubious distinction as shortest ever serving vice president, he threw tantrums after being nominated to Parliament by Uhuru in 2002.

He was used by Uhuru as running mate, used by Raila as running mate in 2007 and aided Uhuruto in 2013 and 2017.

When will someone ever declare “Mudavadi Tosha”
