Precision Air Crash: Tanzania PM To Lead Funeral

According to the area's regional commissioner, Albert Chalamila, the funeral will be held at the Bukoba football stadium. 

Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa will accompany mourners in paying their condolences to the 19 victims of an aircraft disaster in Lake Victoria on Monday. 

The jet crashed into the lake on Sunday morning after it overshot Bukoba’s airport runway. 

According to Precision Air, the plane carried 43 passengers, 24 of whom survived. 

According to the area’s regional commissioner, Albert Chalamila, the funeral will be held at the Bukoba football stadium. 

Precision Air is a publicly traded firm that is owned in part by Kenya Airways, Tanzania’s largest private carrier.
