The Premier League has officially launched the PUMA Orbita Ultimate PL, the striking new match ball set to define the 2025/26 season.
Making its first appearance this July during the Premier League Summer Series in the USA, the ball will feature in the league’s most iconic fixtures when the new campaign kicks off on August 16.
Designed with performance and precision in mind, the Orbita Ultimate PL boasts 12 evenly sized panels for balanced weight distribution and high-frequency moulding to enhance durability.
Enlarged, deeper seams improve aerodynamics and ensure consistent shape retention — key for the world’s most competitive league.
The launch also heralds the beginning of a long-term partnership between the Premier League and PUMA, marked by the “Have a Ball” campaign.
This initiative celebrates the joy of the game and aims to inspire confidence among players at all levels, while also supporting grassroots football through programs like Premier League Kicks, No Room For Racism, and international community activations.
Will Brass, Chief Commercial Officer at the Premier League, called the collaboration a “new chapter” and said the ball will “deliver unforgettable goals and moments for players and fans alike.”
Richard Teyssier, Vice President of Brand & Marketing at PUMA, emphasized the ball’s role in empowering players: “When you have the ball at your feet, you need to make it count. We are proud to equip the Premier League with a product built for elite performance.”
During the Summer Series, PUMA will also host community coaching clinics in New Jersey, Chicago, and Atlanta, and fan engagement events at its New York flagship store.
