President William Ruto will begin a three-day visit to the South Nyanza region on Thursday, his first since taking office in August last year.
He will visit Kisii, Nyamira, and Migori counties during his tour.
The Head of State is expected to begin his visit to Kisii County on Thursday with the launch of the Kegati Water Project in Nyaribari Chache Constituency at 11 a.m., followed by a visit to West Mugirango to launch the Sironga Housing Project at 1 p.m.
Following that, Ruto will commission the upgrading of the Gekano-Rigoma-Amabuko Road in Kitutu Masaba Constituency.
President Ruto will later meet with regional leaders, according to State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed on Wednesday.
