President William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto will hold a thanksgiving service at State House in Nairobi.
The restricted event will take place on Sunday, September 25 at State House Gardens.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, among other invited guests, will attend the service, which is set to begin at 8.30 a.m.
The two were out of the country with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other legislators to attend Queen Elizabeth’s funeral as well as the 77th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The service will be the first of its kind to be held at State House since Ruto moved in after his inauguration on September 13.
