Presidential aspirant Mr. Rueben Kagame is in danger after he received a threat in form of a WhatsApp audio by an unknown.
The candidate is giving people sleepless nights after a WhatsApp audio message which identified him by name at the beginning of the recording was send to him at 3:32 A.M. on 10thFebruary 14, 2022.
According to Kigame’s Campaign Secretariat, Sungu Uyoo the audio indicated that Mr. Kigame cannot win elections in Kenya because politics is planned by Mafia who decide who will and who will not be president after warning him about running for office if he wants peace.
“Wachana na hii kiti … kijana … hii kiti ina wenyewe… I am warning you!” the audio said in an angry tone.
Sungu Oyoo said that the matter has been reported to the DCI who are carrying out investigation.
Sungu believes that the 55 year old represents the greatest existing hope for the recovery, reconstruction and renewal of Kenya as a united, peaceful, hopeful and prosperous nation.
The Secretariat went ahead to condemn the threat and latercalled upon Inspector of Police, Mr. Mutiambai and DCI boss Kinoti, to speed up the investigations and urgently assign security for their candidate Mr. Kigame as soon as possible.
Kigame said leaders have a fair chance at contesting for the top seat, claiming threats are signs of cowardice among aspirants.
