Court Cuts Down Petition Lawyers To Four

"Not everyone will be allowed in; the parties have large teams, but the numbers will have to be limited because the space cannot accommodate everyone," she explained.

Each party will have a maximum of four lawyers at the Supreme Court, according to Amadi.

According to Ann Amadi, Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, only four lawyers from each party will be allowed access to the courtroom.

“Not everyone will be allowed in; the parties have large teams, but the numbers will have to be limited because the space cannot accommodate everyone,” she explained.

“We know that many people will want to come in and participate, but this will be impossible because we are allowing the media to broadcast to the public…. We don’t want to have any issues with crowd control.”

The hearing, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, will feature all seven judges.
All application for joinder rulings will be delivered online by Tuesday at 11 a.m.
