Police have confirmed the apprehension of the primary suspect in the murder of a Rongo University student.
Police in a statement issued Friday, November 3, 2023, announced that they had arrested Titus Limangura in connection with the murder of Abel Chumba, a Third Year student at Rongo University.
“Police in Rongo yesterday arrested a suspect, one Titus Limangura in connection with the murder of Abel Chumba, his fellow male third year student at Rongo University,” the police stated.
According to Police, preliminary investigations indicated that the student succumbed to his injuries at the Tabaka Mission Hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach by the suspect on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
The mass communication student was stabbed in a fight that occurred on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
