The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 290 job opportunities within the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy.
The advertised positions are for Information Communication Technology (ICT) Assistant III within the State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy.

In this role, successful applicants will contribute to developing, maintaining, and optimizing ICT systems that support the delivery of government services.
ICT Assistants are also leading the implementation of technological solutions that enhance efficiency, improve user experiences, and ensure secure data management.
The responsibilities of an ICT Assistant III include network management, where they assist with the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other communication systems.
They ensure smooth and efficient operations across these systems. ICT Assistants are also involved in identifying and resolving network issues to maintain connectivity and reduce downtime.
In addition, they provide first-line support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and applications. They install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment and systems to ensure seamless operations. They are also responsible for monitoring ICT systems for vulnerabilities and implementing measures to address potential risks.
ICT Assistants support data backup, recovery, and archiving processes to ensure the security and integrity of information.
Their role also includes performing regular system checks, updates, and upgrades to improve functionality and prevent disruptions. They collaborate with teams to ensure all ICT systems meet the organization’s requirements.
