Professional services firm PwC has appointed Kang’e Saiti as its new Regional Senior Partner for PwC Eastern Africa and Country Senior Partner for PwC Kenya, effective 1 January 2026.
Saiti, a Partner in PwC’s Assurance business based in Nairobi, takes over the leadership role after previously serving as the Assurance Leader for both PwC Eastern Africa and PwC Kenya. He brings more than 28 years of extensive client and market experience, alongside a strong commitment to people development and the PwC brand.
He succeeds Peter Ngahu, who served as Regional and Country Leader for eight years, during which he steered the firm through significant milestones and periods of uncertainty, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commenting on his appointment, Saiti paid tribute to his predecessor, noting that Ngahu’s leadership was instrumental in building resilience across the firm and positioning it strongly for the future.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to Peter Ngahu for his exemplary leadership as Regional Leader. Through resilience and determination under his guidance, we accomplished significant milestones and overcame major challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic,” Saiti said.
He added that the firm is now well positioned to deepen collaboration with clients and stakeholders while capitalising on emerging opportunities across the region.
“I am honoured to assume this leadership role at such a pivotal moment for the Eastern Africa region. The next era for PwC Eastern Africa is about driving quality and delivering sustainable value to our clients and our people. Together, we will foster innovation and strengthen partnerships with various stakeholders in a way that will shape the future of businesses and communities throughout the Eastern Africa region,” he said.
Saiti’s appointment signals continuity and renewed focus on quality, innovation, and sustainable value creation as PwC seeks to strengthen its leadership position across Eastern Africa.
