Qatar Charity Launches Humanitarian Projects Across 10 Kenyan Counties

Qatar Charity has unveiled a series of humanitarian and development initiatives targeting ten counties across Kenya, reaffirming its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through sustainable, grassroots-driven interventions.

Speaking during the launch, Adel Daboubi, Qatar Charity’s Country Director in Kenya, emphasized the organization’s mission to mobilize resources and forge impactful partnerships that catalyze tangible change. “Our focus is not only on immediate relief but also on long-term empowerment,” he stated.

The projects span several sectors, including the distribution of food and essential medical supplies in drought-stricken regions, the construction of multi-service community institutions, and micro-finance programs designed to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance among underserved populations.

Chief guest Charlene Ruto praised the initiative, commending Qatar Charity for aligning its work with Kenya’s national development agenda. “This is a powerful example of sustainable, community-led development in action,” she noted, highlighting the potential of such partnerships to uplift marginalized areas.

Qatar Charity, which operates in more than 70 countries, continues to play a pivotal role in delivering humanitarian aid and fostering inclusive development across the globe. Its work in Kenya reflects a broader strategy of investing in resilience, dignity, and opportunity for all.
