Radio Africa To Switch Off Kiss TV

Radio Africa Group has announced plans to close its television station, Kiss Tv, less than a year after it was relaunched.

In an internal memo, Chief Operations Officer Martin Khafafa stated that the main reason for the closure was a lack of revenue generation.

He stated that the station will be shut down today, Friday, March 17.

“As you are aware, our TV department has been unable to generate any revenue despite efforts by everyone involved to turn the station around,” Khafafa said in the memo.

“Consequently, we will be shutting down the station today.  All affected staff will be duly informed on the handover process by the HR team.”

Kiss TV was relaunched in May 2022 with entertainment programming.

Kiss TV’s new look focused on music, sports, and live shows.
