Raila: BBI Reggae Is Making A Comeback

Raila Odinga, the head of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), is optimistic about a BBI victory in the Court of Appeal, which will begin hearings on Monday.

Raila indicated that the BBI legal team is prepared as it prepares to appeal the High Court ruling declaring the BBI project unlawful.
As the BBI legal team works through the night, the former premier predicts that the James Orengo-led battery of attorneys will win the battle to bring reggae back.

Orengo, who is also a Senator from Siaya, echoed the comments. “Reggae is making a comeback, and we’re going to Canaan.”

The late Midiwo’s funeral brought to the fore ODM party tensions and infighting as a result of shambolic nominations that resulted in the deceased missing the party ticket to retake his seat.

Midiwo’s family said their goodbyes to a man who was both a breadwinner and a father to them.
