Raila Crisis Meeting As Azimio Cracks Widen

Raila Odinga has called a meeting to avoid a nasty breakdown within the Azimio la Umoja alliance.

After former Prime Minister Raila Odinga lost the Presidential election, the coalition’s two largest parties, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and the Jubilee Party, have been sharing blame.

On Sunday, November 20, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna warned the press that Jubilee had failed to deliver on its pledge of 40% of the Mt Kenya vote.

He said that the team, led by Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, had repeatedly misled to Raila about the chances of Azimio reaching its objective in the Mt Kenya area.
