Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio la Umoja, has stated that they would take President William Ruto to the Hague for violating the law and the constitution that he vowed to defend and uphold.
Raila stated that they intended to organize peaceful protests in the city, but President Ruto directed the police to use tear gas on them.
“We declared today a holiday and planned peaceful protests to bring the price of Unga down. Mr Ruto used the police to arrest our people, in violation of the law. We’ll take him before the International Criminal Court “He said.
The former Prime Minister went on to say that today is only the beginning and that they will go to the streets again next week.
