Raila Odinga, the Azimio Presidential Candidate, arrived at the Supreme Court on Monday with a lorry full of evidence he plans to use to challenge President-Elect William Ruto’s victory.
Raila was accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua and other leaders of Azimio la Umoja.
Raila has challenged Ruto’s victory, claiming that the IEBC did not fully follow the law.
He claimed that the election was not free and fair because of illegalities and irregularities.
Ruto was declared President-Elect on Monday, August 15, but Raila has challenged his victory.
The ODM leader, who was running for the presidency for the fifth time, claimed that the election was rigged in Ruto’s favour.
Four IEBC Commissioners have also distanced themselves from the results, raising concerns about how chairman Wafula Chebukati conducted himself.
Chebukati, on the other hand, claims that the four attempted to force him to moderate the final result in order to force a new election between Raila and Ruto.
