ODM party has welcomed party members who had deviated from the party to UDA and other like parties back home.
On a ceremony held at the Chungwa house in Nairobi county, the deviants confirmed that they had driven away during the Kibra By-elections and were now ready to continue supporting the party’s manifesto.
Party leader Hon. Raila Odinga continues to insist that the party stands for social democracy.
With this agenda, he has planned to upgrade and provide working conditions for Kenya to participate in the global market with the likes of Malaysia, Singapore, and Korea.
The leaders confirmed that the government had failed in its role to sustain equally all the available constituencies and failed the whole country by not promoting any form of social democracy.
Following remarks by the ‘prodigal sons’, it is clear that most of them chose to abandon the ODM party in pursuit of more monetary benefits. This was the main cause of conflict.
The ODM party has promised to watch out for any new members through the protection of their political and financial interests.
