ODM leader Raila Odinga has been discharged from hospital barely a week after he contracted COVID-19. – By Gerald Gekara.
In a video posted on his Twitter account, the ODM leader said he was feeling well, thanking Kenyans for the well wishes.
The ODM leader was admitted at the Nairobi Hospital, over what doctors earlier announced as fatigue.
On Thursday, Mr. Odinga said in a statement that he received a briefing from doctors who had conducted numerous tests on him for the last two days to arrive at an accurate diagnosis.
“While the tests were several, one important result, which I have authorized the doctors to make public is that I have been found to have been exposed to Covid-19.”
Raila was taken ill after a massive Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) campaign tour that lasted a week. He toured Coastal counties as well as Samburu county.
