Azimio leader Raila Odinga has issued a warning to President William Ruto’s administration over continued abductions in the country.
Speaking during a prayer meeting held on his behalf on Monday, February 10, Raila questioned the police service, saying that they had failed to protect the Kenyan youth.
The opposition leader said that he would not stand aside and watch injustices against the Kenyan youth.
“We are against all the evil that is happening in this place. You all know that I cannot stand aside and watch evil.
“This issue of abducting Kenyans and the youth. Arresting them and killing them. This issue must stop immediately in this country,” said Raila.
Further, he raised an alarm over the integrity of the police, noting that they had continuously denied having knowledge of the cases, yet they were meant to investigate them.
“We cannot tolerate people being abducted now and then.
“Who are these people who are abducting the youth? The police are saying that they don’t know. If they don’t know who is doing this, then how are we supposed to report the cases to the police? This must stop,” added the Azimio leader.
