According to an Infotrak opinion poll, Azimio presidential candidate is the most preferred candidate in Nairobi County if elections were held today.
The survey said Raila and his running mate Martha Karua have an approval rating of 49 percent.
According to the poll results, his closest competitor, Deputy President William Ruto, and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua, had a 30 percent approval rating.
George Wajackoyah and Justina Wamae of the Roots party received 5% approval, while David Waihiga and Ruth Mutua of Agano received 0.3%.
Fifteen per cent of the respondents refused to say whom they are supporting for the top seat.
The self-funded survey was conducted between July 2-3, using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews.
The margin of error in the poll was ±3%. A total of 1024 residents from all 17 constituencies and 85 wards were interviewed.
