In a birthday message released on Saturday, January 7, former President Uhuru Kenyatta reiterated that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is his brother.
The former president stated that Raila was also a friend and wished him a happy new year.
Uhuru also wished his ally God blessings on his 78th birthday.
“I would like to take this opportunity in the new year, to wish my brother and friend Raila Odinga a happy birthday.
“May God’s blessings and favor be upon you today and in the years to come,” read the statement in part.
The former president also shared a photo of a cheerful Raila taken just weeks before the August 9, 2022, elections.
