Rally driver Asad Khan will be laid to rest today, December 19, at the Kariokor Muslim cemetery.
According to a funeral announcement, the father of two was a die-hard rally fan and driver.
His funeral will be held at Parklands Mosque, 3rd Parklands Road, Ghusl, with Asr prayers beginning at 4 p.m.
The cortege will then proceed to the Kariokor Muslim cemetery for burial.
Asad Khan was pronounced dead on Sunday evening, at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi, days after he was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend and fellow rally driver, Maxine Wahome.
Maxine was arraigned and released on a cash bail of Ksh 100,000.
His fiancée Wahome now risks murder charges.
