After a recent ban of his song ‘Levitating’ remix with Dua Lipa, DaBaby had faced internet wrestle with the queer community and its allies over hateful remarks.

The artist has been dropped from various music festivals and condemned much.

On an Instagram post, he acknowledged how ‘social media moves word fast’ and how easily one can be demolished before getting the chance to grow.

He appreciated all the people who condemned the act with kindness and offered to guide him to the right path.

Dababy apologized to the LGBTQ+ community by acknowledging that his comments were triggering and misinformed. He said that he now understood why education on the same was important.

Among artists who condemned the remarks were Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, and the Maddona( queen of vogue) company. Many have demanded that the Levitating remix be canceled.

The cancel culture seems to be a growing mechanism to deal with celebrities in the United States. Chrissy Teigen also experienced the same.
