Real’s Ancelotti Considered For Man United Job

According to the Times, Ancelotti, who is presently at Real Madrid for a second stint, is a possible candidate for the job at Old Trafford.

The 62-year-old has previously managed in the Premier League for Chelsea, when he won a Premier League title, and Everton, which he departed last season to return to Spain.

According to the article, Ancelotti is “not a prominent candidate for the job,” but he may be approached if the club does not land one of their top targets, who are reported to be Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag, or Luis Enrique.

Carlo Ancelotti was once praised by Cristiano Ronaldo as a “great guy and a fantastic coach.”

Ronaldo and Ancelotti won the Champions League together in 2014, and the Portuguese indicated a year later that he would want to work with him again – something the United board might potentially make happen.

In 2015, Ronaldo told ESPN, “Mr. Ancelotti was an awesome surprise.”

“At first, I thought he was a tough guy, a little arrogant – but it was the reverse.

“He spoke with us every day. Not just with me but with all the players. He had fun with us.

“He’s an unbelievable person. I just wish every player could have an opportunity to work with him because he’s a fantastic guy, a fantastic coach, and I miss him a lot because we won many trophies together.
