The Ministry has asked Members of the public to be weary and report anyone who has moved in from hotspot areas, inorder to avoid further spread of the deadly Coronavirus – By Gerald Gekara.
While addressing the press, Health CAS Adan Mohamed expressed his dissapointment in Eastleigh and Old Town residents who have been sneaking out to other estates.
“We urge our people in estates where there is restriction of movement to desist movement & help us in controlling this pandemic,” Dr. Rashid Aman, CAS Health.
So far Kenya has reported 607 cases of the coronavirus after 25 cases were confirmed in the last 25 hours. This was out of 632 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The cases were; Nairobi (17), Kajiado (2), Wajir (2), Mombasa (1), Isiolo (1), Nakuru (1), Migori (1).

In Nairobi, Eastleigh estate leads in the number of new infections with 9 new cases, while Kawangware and Parklands each reported 2 cases. Riruta, South C, Umoja and Juja Road each reported 1 case.
The Ministry announced 3 new deaths in Nairobi and Mombasa, raising the death toll to 29 people.
However, 7 people have so far been discharged, further raising Kenya’s recovery cases to 167.
