Rescue crews are in a desperate race against time to find dozens of missing people after a deadly landslide at a landfill in Cebu City, central Philippines.
Signs of life were detected at the site on Saturday, two days after the collapse, according to Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival. The tragedy has claimed at least four lives, with another twelve people hospitalized.
Mayor Archival said search efforts were being hampered by treacherous conditions, including unstable debris and the need for specialized heavy equipment, highlighting the immense challenge facing emergency responders.
