The owner of the matatu which was set on fire during the Azimio mass protest has pleaded with the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and other well wisher to help him buy a new matatu.
The mini-bus was burnt to ashes on the 2nd of May along Ngong Road, Nairobi in the wake of a fresh protest called by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
While speaking at Kilimani police station Christopher Muya the chairman of the matatu owners association Nairobi says that they tried reaching the owner’s area MP Kimani Ichungwa but their efforts were in vain
Henry Mungai Muiruri the owner of the matatu said that he will be holding a fundraiser on the 31st of this month at Boulevard and therefore requests all people of goodwill to come support him.
