Jack Reriani, the elder brother of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, has died.
He died on September 24, 2022, in the evening after became ill at his Mathira home. He was rushed to Karatina’s Jamii Hospital.
Gachagua said in a statement on Sunday that the death of his brother has left him devastated.
“The news of your passing hit me hard. I now remain alone among the sons of Kirigo,” Gachagua posted.
Leaders, led by Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, expressed their condolences to the DP.
‘My sincere condolences to our Deputy President, following the demise of his eldest brother MR JACK RERIANI. You and your family are in our prayers during this moment of grief,’ he said.
“Losing an elder brother especially one who played the role of a parent is one of the most devastating experiences. My deepest sympathies to you my brother, @rigathi ,your entire family & friends following the loss of you elder brother, Mr.Jack Reriani.May the Lord comfort you.” National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula.
