The office of DPP has this morning recalled the case file of Blogger Robert Alai for perusal.
Alai was to face assault charges against Gospel singer Ringtone at the Kibera Law Courts.
Ringtone, while addressing the media confirmed that he remained dormant during the violent episode he encountered with Robert Alai.
The gospel artist-cum-businessman, who came to court in an ambulance addressed a gathering outside the court, urging other young people not to take matters into their own hands.

“Maybe this case is a lesson from God to people like Alai who take matters into their own hands instead of involving relevant authorities. That is why I will pursue it to the end.”
He added that Alai needs to face a judge and answer for his actions.
He also denounced rumors that claimed the earlier altercations were based on ethnicity and other biases.
“I do not want to be used to fan tribal injustices. Alai is a Kenyan and he must face the Kenyan law which he broke.”
