28 Year-old Rita Johal, ex-wife to Manchester City’s Algerian winger, Riyad Mahrez was busted by cops during a lockdown party in London.- By Madellene Kalunda
According to the police, Rita was partying among a number of guests at a private property on Friday night.
She went ahead to upload videos on her Instagram page, videos which she captioned, “Fine for being too hot. Loool we all got fined don’t worry about it sweetheart.”
The videos show at least ten Metropolitan Police officers questioning the people present at the party. “Guys is this what life is? Don’t you guys like to party anymore?”
“Not during lockdown,” a female officer is heard telling her.
“Guys, you can’t be all depressed in this world, we have got to be happy,” the model responds.
She was then heard shouting “The one percent is controlling us. We are all in this together!”
Rita Johal claimed that the Metropolitan Police were overly forceful and did not apologize for the breach. She also said that there wasn’t a lot of people at the party.
Ms Johal is a model. She separated from the Manchester City player in 2019 and together they have two children.
