Robert Osiemo Miruka was arraigned in court today and charged with stealing Ksh 3.6m from Amal Express Money Transfer Limited.
The said offense is believed to have been committed on February 9, 2022.
Further, Mr. Miruka is charged with handling stolen money contrary to the Law.
According to the charge sheet, the accused dishonestly received Ksh 117,104 through his M-Pesa account from Amal Express having reasons to believe them to be stolen money.
He denied the charges before Magistrate Micheni Wendy of Milimani Law courts and was released on a bond of Ksh 500,000.
