Ronaldo Axed From Chelsea Game

Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of Manchester United’s squad for Saturday’s match against Chelsea following his tantrum against Tottenham.

With a few minutes remaining in United’s 2-0 triumph against Tottenham on Wednesday, Ronaldo sprinted down the Old Trafford tunnel.

According to reports, the 37-year-old star told United boss Erik ten Hag that he did not want to come on as a late substitute.

Ten Hag stated following the Tottenham game that he will “deal with” the situation on Thursday.

It was not the first time Ronaldo had expressed public dissatisfaction with his place in Ten Hag’s team, and the United boss ultimately reacted by wielding the axe.
