Four Bread Thieves Arrested In Ruai

Four suspects were arrested on Wednesday morning after they attempted to attack and rob a driver who was ferrying loaves of bread in Ruai area, Nairobi.

The suspects, identified as Harrison Kiarie, Fidel Constance, John Mureithi, and John Waweru, allegedly kidnapped a lorry driver and his two coworkers who were delivering bread in the Ruai area and took the three crates by force.

The four had attacked the driver and grabbed three crates of bread and as they attempted to escape, an alarm was raised alerting members of the public and police, who acted and arrested the four.

The crates of bread were also recovered from the suspects who are expected to appear in court this morning to face charges of stealing.

In the morning drama, police had a difficult time controlling a mob that wanted to lynch the suspects.
